I rang Pearl up 4 times. Twice she was out, and twice I could not get her. I ran across and missed her. Most of my friends took the trouble to write & to come out to the Camp.   She ought have done this too. I always liked Pearl despite her little foibles. Please give her a photo with my love.   I did get the letter but was so frightfully busy that I had no time to answer it. I sent a message to her by Fred.   However I will drop her a line.

Re Horden - He is Ray Hordens (Lieutenant) father & he gave me a lovely pair of binoculars & I dont want to seem ungrateful .   I wish you could find him and give him a nice message from me. I will send you his address. also I will write to him when I get the address.

Never mind the arrears for Prince Alfred. I gave Billy a cheque for that.

Re Jeans pertinent remark.   Dont let her think am neglecting the home folk.   Already I have
