My dear Anne & Jean & Tien &   Lodiga, & Mabel & Linda & Viv & Francie & Else & Viva,

This is the second composite epistle but as we are still a couple of days sail from the shore of ___ I am rather afraid that   that I have not much news to tell you.   However it is over a week since my last spasm.
In that week a few things have happened. Did I tell you about my vaccination ? Well I look alright.   But I was not quite so bad as I expected.   My arm swelled up with a nice little mountain at the top & an active volcano at the peak. and the
