Sgt Major Knowles is the Covent Garden Singer Charles Knowles a famous baritone whose name is on such songs as "My old Shako" etc.   He sang several songs last night & the crowd thoroughly enjoyed the show.   The funniest thing of all was the running fire of comments on the moving pictures made by the troopers as the film was being projected.
