since we had a formal dinner party, and now I feel a disinclination to begin again. Lady Gipps is coming tomorrow to stay an indefinate time, as she often does - her Sister, Mrs. [indecipherable] whom you may have known, is almost quite blind - it is a sad affliction both to herself & her family, but she is very cheerful & spent a day with us not long ago. This a gossippy letter dear William, but then really nothing of interest to tell, my object in writing being to send Sarah's letter. We think very much of you all and shall hope the next account is to hear that poor Emily is recovering same degree of cheerfulness - & that you dearest Brother are feeling that heavy blow less keenly!
