rejoicing at the recent marriage of their son - The young Lady is an heiress & very pretty & the Professor is said to be as much in love with her, as his son - he told me, with one of his comical looks, that he hoped to present his "spring flower" to me some day soon.  We dined lately with A Jms Stopford, who [indecipherable] & married not long after a sister of Lady Denison, his cousin, Capt. Stopford, was of the party - They were [indecipherable] after dinner Capt. Stopford introduced himself to me as an "old acquaintance" he said that he looked back upon the days he had spent in Australia as the happiest period of his life, and that he always spoke of it as the most beautiful, as well as the most hospitable place he had ever visited - He is now a married man, being on his own Estate in one of the counties.  The Adml. also, and I have often talked about Sydney
