buried in complete armour -
"There are [indecipherable] of Roslin Barons bold lie buried within that proud chapelle" -  here also are the tombs of the family up to the present date.
One of the beautiful columns wh is called the "Prentices Pillar" is particularly observable from its elaborate & finely carved foliage. It is said that the Master builder being unable to execute the work from the plans in his possession, went to Rome to study a similar column there.  During his absence one of his apprentices proceeded with the design & upon the Masters return he found the column completed, wh so excited his [indecipherable] that he killed the unlucky apprentice upon the spot with a blow from his malet.  Service is performed in the Chapel wh is in the centre of [indecipherable]
