for returning to England by the Dec. steamer and altho' on many accounts, it will be deeply painful to me to take a final leave of my native land, yet the aspect of everything both as concerns my own family, and the Country generally, is so sadly changed, that I have little doubt he shall be on the whole, far happier in England.
