I'm sending by this mail a beautiful opera cloak for you which I hope you will like. I was rummaging around one of the Oriental bazaars yesterday & I came across it. It was hidden away & doubtless has been lying idle for a year or two. In Sydney it ought to be worth about 12 guineas but I got it cheaply because extremely old stock. But no one but you and I need know that.

I'm also enclosing a silk scarf for Mrs Billy Lawson & a little silk table centre for Mrs Lawson.

Best love to all at home. So glad to hear that you are now in better health. Dont you worry about me. Im always lucky and I'll come home safe and sound. God bless you Mum.
