to find him at home.  I left for him the 2 copies of the address you sent to me & stated they would it was written by Coleridge & I hoped he wd. lay them before his wealthy colleagues of Durham Cathedral - I have as yet no acknowledgement if I [indecipherable] get any I will let you know.

It has occurred to me that as the whole nation has or ought to have an interest in this matter, a collection might be made thru' the Clergy in their Churches thro' by what is called "a King's letter".  & as is often done for the Church in Canada - we have had 2 written the last 6 years & 1 for the Negroes in the West Indies -
