The accounts you give me of your most excellent mother & dear sisters is indeed most grateful to me because when I [indecipherable] them they certainly were not well & your Mother especially - I trust in God this sad & melancholy news will  [indecipherable] for [indecipherable] affect her health again, & that your father will bear it with his usual manly resignation.  I hear often from Edward & I rejoice to say his [indecipherable] are recovering & his employment which is highly honorable is sufficient to keep him
