Thursday 22 December 1921

It rains.    

I go home & it pours just as I leave the tram & I get wet through. Dad & Mum are just saying how glad that I am not coming home through the wet when I walk up steps.

Friday 23 December 1921

I catch first boat. I slip on stairs but only bruise my arm. We work like fury all day.  [Indecipherable] us at night & we sell mightily. I am just about washed out at 10 pm

Saturday 24 December 1921

We again work like fury. I am good only for sleep at 7 pm. I go to Auburn & to N.S. We have wine & a lie down. Kit goes away.  M. does some cutting out. We go out on Balcony. I rush away at 10.15 & don't get home until 12.5. I am in difficulties about keeping awake. 

Sunday 25 December 1921

I go up by 8.30 boat we go to George's for dinner after a great hustle to get away. We go to Little Manly for a swim Keith gives an exhibition & P.P. does well. We have tea at George's & then go home to bed. Dad & mum go to Ada's. P.P. gives me a handsome volume of music.
