Thursday 24 February 1921
We catch Billy easily. I get off early & finish orders before dinner after a lot of humbug. I clean & press all afternoon. Terrible job. I get off to Manly. Visit Mil & Dobboe's. I go to League. No orders. I play George at Billliards & He wins by 15 break. I got to wharf & meet M after ONE hrs wait, Home to play piano & talk. I leave Kosy Nook. by 11.10 tram. George home to sleep.
Friday 25 February 1921
Dad drives to Manly. I ring Dave & Lucy. I rearrange the stock. I catch the 1.52 tram to Manly. I visit Mrs Westy. I meet a bit of Glasgow in the Corner Bike Shop. Catch 5.45 boat. Bring suit Home to Billy B No one home. I deliver to Dr Alc.I take order for summerhoff. I finish evening at Nobo
Saturday 26 February 1921
It is too hot for Pictures. I go with girls to Church & we meet the rest of people on the Beach. I get roused on for not waiting for M when I leave 'cos. I don't want to go with Her alone. We all sit on seat near 'The Pines' & then we walk Home quietly but I leading
Sunday 27 February 1921
I go to Narrabeen by 8.10 tram. We work on Charlies allotment all day. We fell a huge tree. I go to Millars at 4. I have a nice swim & tea & row & sit on verandah. my hands are fearfully sore. We work like niggers-
