Thursday 10 February 1921
I wait at Home all morning. I deliver all afternoon & get Home at 5.30. I go to St Elmo next to Victoria Parade. I go on duty at Stall till 10pm. I meet Alice Board with Boy child from Parramatta Vaucluse. I walk Home with The three people from St Elmo. I have no fares & have to borrow from S.Army & Ted Westy.
Friday 11 February 1921
I work about shop. Pretty sick. Lil down & just home time to catch a motor Renault 3940 to Wm St. I try to catch M by 5.pm boat but miss I deliver Mr Foster & go to St Elmo. I am sick, I lie down & am nursed. I sit on corner 30 minues & go Home ill. and go to

Saturday 12 February 1921
Dad & I go to Manly. I meet Ewen Gillis. I get too much cheese. I to to St Elmo we all get dressed up & nowhere to go on Harbour Beach. We go to ocean Beach & sit on Sand. Mum meets the girls. We go Home & to Carnival at night. Meet agnes Nicol. Dick. Dave; L & Col Morgan. We have a very happy evening. I dodge my stall but meet one of the Girls. Doyle's fit Sat.

Home all morning. Meet Millie. Go on 1 o'clock Patrol last night. Dine on Beach alone. We don't go out anywhere I read & write at St Elmos
