Monday 28 March 1921
I cut two suits (one is my own) I chop rock & dig garden etc all day. I go to Carnival. We do pretty fair. We tease the Misses Kelly about Miss McKenzie & Self. We all are glad to get home . I help Mae sell confetti.
Tuesday 29 March 1921
I go for orders & generally dig & clear up garden. I go to Manly at 4.30 & return at 5pm I walk to grocers across the fields. I walk to Lagoon after tea. Carnival a first especially Spinning Jenny. I try Dunlop on in Exchange
Wednesday 30 March 1921
I work all morning. I wait for ring & don't get it. I go to town by old London Motor Bus. I nearly go into Harbour at Spit. I go to Williamson's. I ring E get thanks. I go out to go Somewhere. I see Otto & new bike. I get off & catch 6.15 train for M'ville & tea at Otto's. I stay until 9.28 tram, See A.T.M.C. I am very disappointed for once. I get some fruit from E & leave at Otto's shop. Wrote Ciss , Corr & Elma.
