Monday 19 December 1921
More trouble at the boarding house. My advice is asked. I have to be very careful. Dress fits well & looks grand. After several more hustles we miss last train & get last tram Addison Rd. I give Roy the hustle of his life. I sleep at Roy's digs in Lewisham. I get 7.18 train with no brekker. I eat at Hodgson's on arrival. I meet one of D.Js Boys in train. I am surprised to find how much I like Kit. P.P. will have to look out or I'll be coming to see someone else. I go home & read until tea then play for an hour & write until 9 pm, I am very lonely & longing [else ]getting my P. for Blighty. I get frenzied over thoughts of my body
Tuesday 20 December 1921
Very hot day. I go to N.S. for Tea. We spend a pleasant evening. I think I am very good. I catch 11 pm train
Wednesday 21 December 1921
I go to town by mistake. I ring P.P. but go back to Cuneo's. We have a long chat & music & I get 11 o'clock train connecting at Strathfield. I order chocs for everybody.
