Thursday 3 November 1921

I garden all morning and turn out my own room in afternoon.  I ring Ethel & Bess & Roy rings me.  Mum Dad & I dress up to go to League meeting. Mum goes & Dad & I shirk it.  We play crib most excitable games. I cut Mum's coat.

Friday 4 November 1921

I go to town after dinner. I go to Ellis, Pa's & Otto's for tea. I see Bob Munro but he defers me until Monday. I go to Cuneo's for tea. we all go shopping on Parramatta Rd. I bring home carnation slips I see Ethel as I go in the Strand. I like the ring. Home by 10.30 boat with Bro.Starr. I send  Almanac's to Connie, Ciss & Auntie

Saturday 5 November 1921

I stop home in the morning. I ring P.P. and mum rings Ellis. I go to town by 11.45 boat. I have flowers etc for P.P. in case Ellis outside. I go to N.S. I dine at Ridge St & watch Cricket Match until 3.15. We miss tram to Spit & to Lav. Bay for swim too late. We sit on verandah very sultry hot day. We are happy. I am told that P.P.can't talk like me but she feels same as I do. Not nearly as strong as me. I am annoyed by a fool who knocks at door opposite. I catch 11.35 boat we put back for two people

Sunday 6 November 1921

Rain nearly all day. I garden & build rockeries.  Mum & I share sailors joy. We thread beads at night. George rings up. I change my room about each Thursday.
