Go to League meeting.  Go back to Alexander St after Bennetts coat

Friday 7 January 1921

Work late  Very tired. Curl up on boat to sleep

Saturday 8 January 1921

Catch 1pm boat with M. See a shark in the heads. Dine at Esp. Café. We walk to Baths  Stand all the time in fearful heat. Beurepaire swims 1-39 for 150. Cotton Beats Herald in 2.30 fo 220. Girl with large hat with white hides lot of view. North beat South by a yard average 28 secs each 50. Tea at St Elmo.  E.L. & I go to Arcadia & rest to Brittania. Rotten pictures. I nearly go to sleep.

Sunday 9 January 1921

I do cutting. Manly for a swim. Home all afternoon. Go to St Elmo for tea. I play piano until 9.30 and then am told that I like music better than any body else
