Thursday 17 March 1921
I go around Corne Rd Hill only & to windleys. I am not very bright, I dodge about garden cut Me's costume. I ring E. I play for a while & go to R.S.A meeting. 50 men and only 4 volunteer to help Digger Jones at Narrabeen.
Friday 18 March 1921
I go to town early. I sit on boat with Mabel Smith. I buy a hat & collars. I visit Roan, Maynie, Elma, Meet Nugget Bill 10 yds S.E & Jack Cuneo 10 yds N.E. I get told to go for the first time. I go to Police & Coherns to Ernie Evans & meet Jim Hawkins. 4 o/c Boat Home. Very restless. I ring Dick & Tidy room as to Books etc. Play Piano a little. Mum gets a fright when Drunkey Hans comes to take her to the Court.
Saturday 19 March 1921
I go to town early. I make up my mind to go to Windsor. I visit Otto & ring from Roy. Catch 1.37 train. Lovely trip.I set up as a manicurist. I surprise Auntie. I go to dance after tea . Big procession of motors from races in afternoon. I pick the worst dancer in room. She nearly kills me & it serves me right. I dance all the time with no introd.
Sunday 20 March 1921
Go for stroll to river. read all time. Go stroll to church & river after dinner. Sit on banks with girls. Catch train. E not aboard. Out at Riverstone Church. Westys pal & Berts back to Windsor to sleep.
