Monday 26 September 1921

I rip & mark a skirt & buy fittings etc for it. I have to go Home to deliver Dr's suit. I hurry & catch same tram Home.  I ring Dr Alcorn & My P. twice. I get cut off 3 times on 1st occasion. I play piano & have some sailors' joy. Thunderstorms & rain. Mum not too well & Dad falls over with a bucket of eggs

Sunday times to Uncle Tom Wrote M.R.C.

Tuesday 27 September 1921

Dull.  Sent paper Sunday Times to Uncle Tom. I pick up P.P. coat & deliver to Kit. I refuse a pressing invitation I go to office for O'coat & meet Ivan Waugh. To Hosp. I am in a jocular mood & we all nearly scream laughing until I tumble that Etta might suffer. Rain after leaving Hosp. I wait under viaduct for E. I ring from Bellvue Hill & I am very happy afterwards. I weigh 11-7. Home and music & bed 10 pm

Wednesday 28 September 1921

Half an hour early so I go to 110 & try on white Trs. I go out nearly all morning. I meet Dick.T. & I go to Pog's for records. I get skirt only half finished &d deliver to wharf with letter.  I cut a suit & deliver to Oxford St. I go to Bondi I enjoy spinach for first time. We play Bridge until Dot gets a fit of nerves & goes into a terrible tantrum of pain.  I hear facts about Marsden  & story of Co. & the Prince. I get tram to Bondi & walk home in 12 minutes from Beach.
