Thursday 3 March 1921

I go to Dance in evening. I cut & try on Gcoat I go to Dance at Brooky. I go to meet E with Cards first & travel up with Gwen Jones & Deb W by car. Dance full of kids. I play a too fast waltz. Lights go out & I play all time. Motor chap holds machine together for 1½ hours. I meet girl from Narrabeen & see Her Breakfast. Some Girl Violinist. Miss Kirkpatrick pianist.

Friday 4 March 1921

I work at Home all morning. I go to town by 3.40 boat. I meet M with Post. I get to Manly by 5.30 boat.① mum out. ② M  out ③ Billy B. out  ④ Frank out.  Westy at Home. I wait a while & go to Hennessy & to M. We try on skirt & go to Jones for music. We do well except I get full & with [indecipherable]. I like Miss Moss very very much.

Saturday 5 March 1921

I cadge Trousers for Dad Westy

Very wet training. I go to Manly after dinner. We sit & talk awhile. I go to Franks place for 2 hours & back to tea at St Elmo. We go to Pictures & I am interested very much to my surprise & to the others. See a man under shower sans habit over pantalons.

X past band, to lover's walk, to see Auntie & my uncle I am already treated, 7 no less & only 3 counted

Sunday 6 March 1921

We all work in garden - all morning. I go to Manly on foot & get my Serge Suit splashed with mud from motor.  Go on 3.30 postal. I hang shirt in tender to dry. I go for swim. 5.15. We all go together. Water lovely. I see Lily & new Baby

We go for walk to say Au Revoir to manly X
