Monday 12 December 1921

We catch 8.56 train. I am a little late for work. Bossee & I go to Mr Walsh's re Woy Woy I go home, play for a while & then write & to bed. I have a ring from Dad about an urgent Telegram. 

Garratt rings for 45 minutes with no luck.

Tuesday 13 December 1921

A new day greets me.  Jim & I ring E. Garratt is away all day. I ring Ellis at dinner, more tales of woe from Mrs. I get spicy at dinner time with J & the two [indecipherable].   I just arrive at 7.40 in time for tea. P.P. is not too bright & can't bear me near her. I am not too kind but I am dreadfully tired. 

Wednesday 14 December 1921

Up at 7. We go to court by 10. Called at 11.45 out at 12.30. Mum goes in at 12.30 until 1 pm. We dine at Esplanade. I talk with Mrs Moloney & others for the defence. The lawyer. Nolan bullys me & trys to trip me up  But I enjoy the business & he gets no change of me. I go to town. to E.& walk with E to Macquarrie St. to League to Otto & Bank. To E's, all warehouses. shop at Son goods. Meet Jack Johns, Frank O'Rourke. Ring P.P. meet.  Dine at Sargents. To Quay.  Try on frock. walk to Glebe to see "Pearls & Savages" walk to Quay. Drink in Bridge St. I catch 11 pm train. We meet E. promise to go out on a Tuesday -- Otto gives me chance of trip
