Monday 9 May 1921

Go to town. Go to press trousers & skirts. I go to E. Evans Rooms & hear the worst smut ever before so I have a confidential chat on boat. I am almost overcome with J & G. I go to Millars. I see sweet potato, I got to flats, music but I hold the floor. Violet sees things because the blind is not drawn. I try not to be nice but don't know the result  - E is charmingly lovely all the more

Tuesday 10 May 1921

Work 

Catch 8.10 boat & the boat Home. I go to Freshy and no tea  & walk home in the rain for nothing. All in bed & I get own tea, read until I fall asleep & go to bed.

I have tea in Manly alfresco & go to Flat I have the floor & I keep it going much to the amusement of the audience, I tell stories but am not believed,
