Wednesday 5 October 1921

I go to Dr Minnetts before work. I catch 8.35 am and sit with Jim Roberts. I go to N.S. We don't go out and are very happy. I set out to catch early boat but something is said and I don't like to go until I hear my fate sealed for ever - I get an awful shock although not unexpected. P.P. is very kind and good though and says I may still come over to see her.  I am happy in the thought that I am not altogether unappreciated but I feel as if I am not even like a cat and able to Look at a Queen. Dream of P.P. conjuring lovers.
