Monday 19 September 1921
I go to town with E. Things as quiet as usual. I dine with George. Home for tea. I cut two trousers & a skirt. I ring P.P. & play piano awhile before I go to bed. I have a call from Ernie Bridekirk ---- I go to Bondi Junction on business.
Tuesday 20 September 1921
I forget my key. I meet M.B. I go shopping all around town. After P.P.'s Costume I see many strange sights. I go home to read & play awhile
Wednesday 21 September 1921
I ring Col.Munro & then P.P. & Home. I go to N.S. We three go Home together. A Birthday is celebrated & two persons get very merry. My watch stops & the Sober (?) one leads me astray & I catch 12.5 boat & walk from Bondi Junction. We thrash out the why & wherefore that I must not expect any change in the atmosphere. I am not so hopeless as at yore in spite of the dividing sea I am introduced to Nell who does not hear me & come Home at 1.30 am ----
