Thursday 24 March 1921
Come to town with Mr H. I collect & deliver Camera & Persimmons. Visit Otto. Go to Ellis & R.S.A Tweed. Home at 11. deliver on Hill. I stay Home to read & write. Get very restless & fed up etc.
See Theo Richmond. Lea Lewis. Dope Elwin. I taste first persimmon
Friday 25 March 1921
I go to Manly by 7.52. I meet E & E halfway to boat. Sid goes home for cossy. They go to National. I work with Les Bell on Corso. Sponge late dinner & swim. Work till 5 pm. Swim & home with Geo.at 6pm Hottest day for long while. Aunt Fa nearly kicks it. I get restless & read & go to bed 8.30. I wake at 1 am & can't sleep again.
Saturday 26 March 1921
I work all morning, I set out for M'Vile & N'cliff & get to Manly. Work on Corso. See N. Upton. Alan Watson. Nell & Laura & others. I leave Carnival to go to Stanmore. Arrive at 9pm. I nearly leave again but decide to stay till the morrow.
Sunday 27 March 1921
I stay all day at Gardon Cres. I dine on duck. I play nearly all day on stiff piano. I rush to catch 9 train & get 8. Meet Dave Lord and Davo.
