Monday 7 November 1921
Rainy & dull. I go for eggs & do odd jobs about the place. I go to town by 1.45 boat. I try for jobs unsuccessfully. I go to F.O.B. & then on to H'ville. We play billiards & I give signs of improvement & meet Jack Beales.
Tuesday 8 October 1921
I ring The Colonel. I go to Repat. no luck I catch 11.30 boat with paint. We give kitchen a wash & one coat of paint. Mum rings up for me. I catch 5 pm boat to Sydney. I go over later 6.30. K goes out & we sit on Balcony & are contented to chat etc
Wednesday 9 October 1921
I try Gowings Dyson Austen no luck. I meet P.P. & go on to tea with her & Marie. I leave at 7.50. I go to Prot. Hall.
10.30 boat home.
We have a big argument amongst some of the members.
