Thursday 10 November 1921

I give Kitchen a second coat & do the doors & skirting boards.  Dad goes to Lodge & Mum & I go to Diggers meeting. I go to Sommerhoff's first. We leave at 9.40 tram after I had rung P.P. at the wharf.

Friday 11 November 1921

I go to town by 11. am on chocwheel.  We start in Martin Place, a girl & I, Roy Mitchell is latest to receive a large box of chocs. I leave at 4.30. I meet P.P.  We go to Dents to Sargents in Strand & to Globe Pictures. I ring Garland & we walk to the quay I see Jack malone. good bye to wal. Ethel has a bat & several others. 

Saturday 12 November 1921

I go to town but nothin 'doin' I go to Ellis' place. We play cards at night & I have no luck at all. I stay all night. I hear of a job at Orange. I am very thoughtful & cannot shake myself up at all.

I get home at 11.30

Sunday 13 November 1921

I garden etc & lie down after dinner & ringing Pat. Dad & mum go up to Manly & the phone rings. I go to N. Sydney. I arrive for tea with Marie & Kit. Nobody eats much P.P. is ever so Kind and makes me very happy. I walk from BONDI JUNC
