Monday 6 June 1921

Very sick.

Rs a little gardening. Go to Manly. To Palm Beach meet E & E at E at Newport. Dinner after a peep at Barranjoey. Crook dinner & fish hard to see.  Much knitting & everybody very happy. Nice seat in Motor back to Narrabeen & tea. Manly 8pm A walk & a talk & tons of Sweets. more than ever before in my life. Very hot at Palm Beach. hot in sun & shade. Everybody enjoys themselves. 

Tuesday 7 June 1921

I come to town by 10.15 boat. Shop etc. Go to Rosebery & over works. I am forced to laugh at K. She absolutely does not know me & looks so aggreived at seeing me.  I catch 5.45 boat & walk along Esplanades. I go Home, play piano read & go to bed 9pm. Meet A.T M.C & hear of a letter which I receive. Looking very bright 

Wednesday 8 June 1921

I get 1.45 boat. Shop etc for self & wife Go to Miss Cameron. See Gertie. Bump McDonald. Electrician again after meeting in Mascot tram. Catch usual boat. Sit upstairs. I am again hated. I go to Flat to shew Photos & P.Cs. Walk down to boat with Vi. She does not look at Photos & wont speak. I see more than I am wanted to see & am hated again. I am seen off the premises very reluctantly. Meet Lila King 77 Mitchell St Enfield.
