Thursday 28 July 1921
I deliver orders and clean up stable etc. I go to manly to League but they are not meeting. I go to pictures with E and Mrs Lampey. music makes me feel awful.
Friday 29 July 1921
I garden all morning and then go to town by 2.45 boat. Music makes me lonely. I meet E we drive to Sargents. I get wroth at long wait. I see Gebby. We go to Glebe and back to Crystal Pal. 11 o'clock boat. We walk to Quay. We get disappointment. We are very bright but the picture puts me to sleep.
Saturday 30 July 1921
I fix stable etc. I meet Cadillac at Corner and fly over to town. We nearly bust up a jacky ford on Spit road. I get to H'ville meet maynies Pal. Hodges' cousin of Rodd Island fame. Ma, Mona and I talk. Wal, W H and I play billiards. I played very badly and cause Wal much amusement. I stay all night. D & O come home 1030 & we have supper.
Sunday 31 July 1921
Olive, Dick and I race the Count and have a bit of a hit. I go to manly. Catch 3.15 and hurry on my way. I go to church with E and Mrs Lamply after inviting myself. Nice service and I feel not wanted.
