Thursday 1 September 1921
Roy comes in. I go to Tommy Williamson's. Patterns all day & Wednesday & Tuesday. I miss the League meeting & go to the No 8 Flat & to Pictures until half time I was asked to go particularly.
Friday 2 September 1921
I go home & read until late. Dad & mother go to Manly. I ring up P. about my N. day & get a little bit disappointed

Saturday 3 September 1921
I break my arrangements re the costume of E unfortunately. I ring Jack & ask if it is Brittania Theatre. I arrange to take Vi for wild flowers & a short drive. Dad & mother build wood shed all higgeldy piddeldy & in bad temper while I garden & do the odd jobs. They go to George's for tea & I follow after a 40 minute wait. Music & opera with Keith.
Sunday 4 September 1921
I do odd jobs & then go along F.F. Road for flowers. Meet Ma Cuneo. I garden all the afternoon & see Dave Lord & Dick passing in Car. Chris & Fran & Mrs D come up & we have a nice little sing song until bogie & bed
