bivouacked & afterwards the seamen went to the wireless station.  The M.G.S. sent at 2 a.m. a few men to assist the naval patrol that came up to carry back the wounded to the Headquarters.  These returned to the guns in the morning along with 6 seamen told off to assist them in carrying the guns & came back to the Headquarters at 11 a.m.  They afterwards followed the naval forces to the wharf & waited until they were taken on board the destroyer "Yarra" at 2.30 p.m. The destroyer steamed to Herbertshõhe at 5.30 p.m. & sent the Section ashore there.
