Thursday 8 December 1921
I hear more tales of woe.
I go to H'ville at night. I only win one game of billiards. I get some choice apricots. I wish the same wish & that someone wishes I wouldn't wish so foolishly Home by 11 train & can't sleep for some long time
Friday 9 December 1921
I ring Mum & get cut off. She rings me & the same thing occurs. I lose my temper & swear. I ring P.P. but can't get on We work until 9-15 & then ring P.P.
Saturday 10 December 1921
I ring Aubrey before work. I am rushed by customers Olga & rush our dinner & just catch our train nicely. I get the costume & transfer it to S.F. Ltd. We get home & Olga eats a big tea. We go to S.Steyne & I go to wharf to ring P.P. the second time. We go to No 118 & down the road with them. Olga has a good time & Dad wins a box of chocs. The witch gets her money bag pinched.
Sunday 11 December 1921
I do some gardening & we go to Manly for swim. Dad has a dip & races home with Key. I get out & dress & George makes me go in again Waves good for an hour I go to Dobboes. I go home with Olga & E.E & E. we have phone music visit from (m Starc). All lay about on lawn & Play & I garden & clean stables. Ring P.P.
