Thursday 15 September 1921

Heavy rain in morning. I go to Bondi 'Junction' see printing press extraordinary.  I ring P. & save £1.  Dine with George. Meet little Harry the Cockney of D.J's Clarence St. I ring Mr Harper at 12.45.  I meet P.P. & try on at No 47 & go unannounced to N.S.  We are both very merry over my strange position & relations with a hard person

Friday 16 September 1921

I go to A.H. & Sons. Meet Queen and Maynie. I go to P. markets & dine with Otto. 7 pm boat home Dr Minnett and  N.S.L.S.C. annual meeting. Home at 10 pm just as P.P. rings up for me. Ring Wreidt after having called on him only 2 hours before. Mrs H open & operated on at 2 pm.  Poor Aunt Amy's Birthday -------

Saturday 17 September 1921

I go to dinner and Ladies footy match with P.P. Footy good & we both have a win. Home and tea with Mr Wreidt. We have a good long interesting chat but P.P. again nearly goes to shut eye. We catch 11 pm boat Home

Sunday 18 September 1921

Rain very heavily.

I do a little work & then go to town by 1.15 boat.  I wait an hour to visit Mrs H, Dot, Clive & baby Ross. Pa, W H. Mona & Mrs Grigor. I leave at 3.30.  I ring P. at 4 & knock around in dusty horrible wind until 6.30.  I catch 10.40 to Bondi & get bailed up
