Monday 27 June 1921

up & doing.

I do some work again and then go a - sailing with all hands, we are nearly wrecked several times. We tow the Beulah round and I get very wet. We get ready for home and I leave to go every where I help clean fish and one gets away. We run on the Bank near bridge and and Dave says things. We miss bridge by inches. I have good seat on Dave's bag and Roy keeps conversation going all the way home. R & Doll  goes walking. 

Tuesday 28 June 1921

Work. I do 10+ ½S.  D go to Paddington with piano. I go to Flat. I am received with open arms. I go to Pictures. We go for a walk. I am told a story of suffering which I dreamed could not be possible. I am very much overcome. Everybody becomes very happy. I get home at 11p.m. I ring 458 and get told off for ringing the wrong person. I am again malheureux.  Meet Frank on the boat. I go back to Manly at night. I torment  E particularly Elsie Pike comes in
