Thursday 23 June 1921
I get early to work by 7.30 train. I do 8 + 6 I go home and straight to bed
Friday 24 June 1921
I do 9 + 2C over . Go to Otto's at lunch time to pick up Skirt. I ring 288. I meet K & P and later Dick and we dine with W & E after visiting Otto again. We get home first. We take our usual possies. I leave a sleeping beauty. First time on two accounts. I leave reluctantly. I am malheureux. I go to Beulah.
Saturday 25 June 1921
We can't get up out of bed. We get away at last. We meet Pa. We just get seats for all. Weather gets worse and we go north. Decamp and set out by Cart. I get off and walk or rather Charlie Chaplin glide. I get there first and help to get new fence.We have no tea but start other errands when tea turns up. Dick, Dolly & Dave arrive as wet as possible. Tea and chatter and music and cards and then Pa tells stories.
Sunday 26 June 1921
Wretched weather. I help bed making. washing up and cooking while all but Pa & ma go up river. We go sailing. Dolly gets sick, and D & Dick nearly go overboard. Roy arrives. Tea and music and cards Pa and I win again.Pa again tells stories Pa and I on jig-saw
