I deliver orders. I lose more money. We say goodbye to Billy. I call at the Haunted House Lil at Etta's for dinner. I find a [indecipherable] & lose him. Go to League meeting & do a little business. I am desperate.

I go to town by 11.15 boat after helping with domestic duties. I do no business & I catch the 3.30 boat home. Meet Nance & go Home for tea. I play & write & do a little gardening. I ring Milly
Saturday 16 April 1921
I go to Dicks place after dinner but have to eat some. Play tennis very badly. I meet Dolly Lord & Mae & Roy again. Old Bill, Young Bill Jack. and wife. I play billiards & others play piano Dick goes home with Dolly. Dad gets the new nag Dolly.
Sunday 17 April 1921
Dick does not come Home I play piano all morning & Billiards & patience all night. We play nominations & Old Bill goes mad
