Monday 24 January 1921
Go to Manly. Take J. for run along Addison Rd after leaving M & Lily at Boat. Home to cut & sew & try on Mr Doyle. Go to St Elmo & spend the evening at Baths. We do well but all suffer afterwards. We only wear 3 or 4 things.
Tuesday 25 January 1921
Go to Manly for swim. Home & cut & sew for W. Bunting. Go to Manly at 6pm. See Ellis go up to His place. get coats & go to St Elmo. to watch gamblers gold or silver M wins 6/6 & Jean has no luck nor has Capt.

Wednesday 26 January 1921
Dad & Mum go out to Clifton Garden to Orange Picnic. They get all dirty & dusty. I do all the odd jobs & go to Manly for swim. Go to St Elmos & watch ironers. Home for dinner & back to do something. Southerly springs up strong. All go to theatre & I see them off & go home to music & write. Send 2 papers (S.W)
