Meet Phil Powell looking very hard worked also Bill Clifton from the Bush- -
Go home, rush for the tram & squash fruit. Go to St Elmo. Go to Annual R.S.A meeting. Elected on Committee. Lucas starts to yap & I go out. Play cards & lie down to sleep while others play cards & piano. I tell the truth why I lay & went to sleep. Home on boat with Frank.
Friday 14 January 1921
Roy comes in sick. Off Duty. Meet Mr Mills going to dinner. George calls. Very little work. Garden to 1.10 at Tea Time. Go home very very tired.
Saturday 15 January 1921
Up a 7am. Go to Brookvale for peaches etc. Manly for shopping etc.
Deliver Morton's suit Bennetts coat while Dad is having X'Ray. Go home & Jack & Lizzie come out. We have music & tea at home. I go to St Elmo. Tea & pictures. I miss M again & Picture give me head-ache & other aches. aerobatic Elephant horse & orang-outang.
Sunday 16 January 1921
Go to Manly all day. Don't want to go to St Elmo. Take green leaves & have brekker. Dad & M. on wrong side of bed. Surf with Dick at S.S. Dinner Alone on beach Westys for music. Go to beach swim & join Club. Tea at Dobboe's.
