Owing to our rations running short, we are now reduced to a diet of tea and damper, and a limited quantity of that, but we make use of every opportunity to secure a feast of fish whenever our route brings us near a large river or pool. which is the case to night, for Pinadhi has just brought a string of large perch and catfish into the camp.
