Sun. 26th  April -   Allan was on the move long before daylight, and had breakfast ready by 5 A.M. but it was a quarter past eight before all was packed and a start mad. We passed Camp 13 at Carson Glen, and our horses climbed bravely up the incline onto the table land. It was a heavy sandy course all day and the horses were much fagged. One little mare "Bluey" knocked up and had to be left at Pleasant Creek 7 miles back from the Camp One of the Larikea's will have to go at daylight in the morn-ing and bring her on. The River has afforded us a good yeild of fish, which is very acceptable as our supply of meat is finished.
