Friday 20. It was a dull morning with slight drizzle of rain but became a beautiful day. We made a long arduous stage today, over jagged stoney ranges the whole day
At half past three in the afternoon we came to a billabong with good water and splendid horse feed and were glad to camp. About 20 miles today.
Sat 21st. Last night I baked our first damper, and it was a success, hitherto we have been ^ using cabin biscuits.
A wild blackfellow was seen yesterday afternoon, and the two horse boys reported a camp on a billabong not far from us, so a vigilant watch was keep during the first part of the night. We made
