Sunday 19th We resolved to let the camp remain for a day or two at this part of the East Riv as fish were plen-tiful and our supply of jerk-ed beef was finished.
This morning Fred and I cros-sed the river and rode to the base of a [bare?] looking mount and tying our horses, we climbed to the top and had a good look - at the surrounding country.
