but that it must add to his well earned fame for being the founder of such an undertaking as well as adding the means of increasing comforts to all who are dear to him & deservedly so I may truly say for their anxiety & affection -

I am sure too he must feel gratified in the ease of management of this staple article of your estate, as it has proved in William's case - I had some hopes (I may use that expression tho' accompanied as they were with no little alloy on the occasion) of meeting with James in Engld.
