I must own I am sick of Australian politics for after all it is comprized in nothing but squabbles & the lowest reptiles & amongst each other.  The few respectable people in the Colony keep aloof and mind their business.

But the consequences of the mad & wild demands these demagogues have made a [indecipherable] such as the [indecipherable] institutions of England, wh. are quite unreceptive to a distant [?] country more especially a penal settlement, is that Govt [indecipherable] now a [indecipherable]  become unmanageable & therefore have come to the determination
