Your account of the Colony is any thing but satisfactory but I hope as you say it is at its worst & that the present prices of Wool will revive your [indecipherable] to it. The continuous state of high artificially high prices led that mad and unthinking community to consider [indecipherable] lasts for ever & the policy of Govn. Macquarie & those of the present Govt. in supporting those servile wretches [indecipherable] in the convict [indecipherable] Banks are all now answerable. If as I hope you will all recover, I hope also adversity
