the Jan.y or feb.y ships none of w.h to this date have been heard of - 

I do not know that I can add any thing to my former letters on the severe loss we have all sustained by your poor brother John, & it being irrevocable, submission is our duty - I am very glad to say that your brother the Major has much recovered his spirits & the duties of his office give him occupation of a highly honorable & creditable nature to maintain without fatiguing
