I felt persuaded  that to his family it would be some cause of alleviation especially if it turned out to be an incurable disorder & therefore I pressed acquiscence upon him. I moreover urged that our friend Evans should attend as he w.d be able to personally communicate with you when you meet. 

I was most unfortunately obliged to leave London on a combination of family matters I had delayed to the last & beyond w.h it was not possible to
