for the improvements effected by him upon Mr. Scott's Grant.  The most difficult point was the house, which annoyed me exceedingly,: but as I was anxious to conclude Mr. Hawdons's proprietorship, and also to cancel the Lease of the land to him, the sums allowed were greater, than under other circumstances might be considered their value, during the whole I did my best - & in looking back am not aware of any part which if require to act over again, I could amend, or arrange better. 

The Sums allowed were,

Fencing three Paddocks   £78.
Barn. 25
Stockyards 15
Hurdles 250@2/each 25
      £143
