blameless as a man, nor of spotless reputation, has brought the sheep into a condition which does him credit. Mr. McA. however, recommends my parting with him, to which I had almost agreed, and on making enquiry respecting a man at present with Mr. Macleay, named McLeah.

I secured 2,000 Sheep or thereabouts, and the Cattle which were transferred to Mr. Hawdon, and after several lengthy discussions, during which we occasionally became animated, to say nothing more, we reduced to writing an agreement, in which I allowed him a certain sum.
