have Representations, I am quite sure Party Reform will not cease over risks which are of such a magnitude & so far gone that no regular Govt. cd. undertake the cure - John I see frequently & I think he worries himself more abt the changes than he ought.  I admit he has some reason & since the object of his desire is now frustrated by the retirement of Lord Lyndhurst who will hardly give up what he now has for life, to take the Lords on an uncertainty if there shd  be a change - of course we don't agree about political matters & our visits usually are occupied with more [indecipherable] wrangle & [indecipherable] such as those mild & harsh like ebullitions
